So the lovely Lexie aka Mama Berry surprised me last week by nominating me for this award! Hop over and see her when you have the chance – she’s partial to a peach margarita or three – my kind of Mummy !
This award is all about sharing the new blogger love (lieb is love in German right?) and getting to know some fellow bloggers!
Lexie’s come up with some pretty good questions for me, which I’ve done my best to answer

How long did it take you to come up with your blog name?

Ages, I wanted ‘confessions of a’ but of course it was already taken so I googled  got out my trusty Thesaurus and came up with an alternative!

What is your most cringe worthy moment as a parent?
There’s been a few but I’m going to go with the one where my son picked his nose, wiped it on my face and laughed out loud like a demon in front of a group of people. He did this because I was talking to someone for two seconds and wasn’t giving him my undivided attention and because, well – he’s an arse.

Honestly, how often did you bathe during the first month post pregnancy?
Not a great deal, I had an emergency C-Section and our shower was an other the bath scenario so I couldn’t actually step up and over for a while. Tip- buy some toddler step stools these helped loads!

Got any quirky pregnancy superstitions up your sleeve?
No sorry I don’t really go for all that. I’m too much of a rational thinker! Although I do think that genetic influence plays a big part, I had a very similar pregnancy to my Mother – but then I guess that’s more science than superstition!

Do you have a baby gear must-have?
Muslins! You need hundreds of these! See  10 Things I Wish I Could Tell Pregnant Me

List your favorite baby lullabies.
I think Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star is our all time favourite. Although we’ve moved more onto stories before bed now so its a little less lovely and more reading books like this one…

What’s your favorite book/movie that you’d definitely introduce to your little one?
Has to be anything Disney, we stayed up watching Cinderella on Friday night which was great fun. He already loves the Jungle Book and I’m on the look out for the Lion King!

Tell me, elephants or owls?
Uh oh now this is getting serious! Elephants. No owls, no elephants…I can’t decide – please don’t make me choose!

Best parenting advice you’ve ever gotten.
Pick you’re battles wisely, its not worth fighting a toddler over every little thing.
I think I read this somewhere, and its helped me manage his tantrums a lot better!

What is the weirdest thing your baby has eaten?
Olives! He loves olives, I hate olives but he gobbles them up!
So glad this question wasn’t ‘what is the most disgusting..’…..

Thanks Lexie, so now I’m nominating these bloggers for the award and asking them some inappropriate questions:

Lisa at BacksnBumps
Jeremy at Thirsty Daddy
Kelly-Anne at Mimi Rose and Me
Mummy at Mummy Here and There

Here’s the questions:
1.What is your motivation to blog?
2. Whats the most embarrassing thing you’re kid has ever done?
3. In five words describe you’re significant other.
4. What is you’re favourite topic to blog about?
5. What can you still not do (despite being a fully grown up adult person)?
6. What are you looking forward to?
7. What really gets your goat?
8.  What is the most annoying thing your child does?

I’ve been told the rules are:
The rules are:
1. Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog.
2. Answer the questions given by the nominator.
3. Nominate and link bloggers.
4. Notify all the bloggers you’ve nominated.
5. Create new questions for your nominees to answer.

Muslins are love <3 and you're a Disney mom!? *fistpump* and it is hard to choose between elephants and owls.. they're just so darn cute! lastly, I will remember that advise when my Blueberry becomes a toddler. Oh, I wish they could stay tiny. Thanks so much for doing this with me, Sarah! 🙂
