Last week I posted this image up on my Instagram page.  Cats are always in fashion in our house. It’s a post card that I bought from a well known stationers, popped in a frame. We love cats in this house (we have three) and all things cat related!

Yes you heard right – we have three cats in this house and most of them by mistake I might add. Three humans, three cats – it’s hard to tell whose the pet and whose the owner! One for one and Finley wants another for Christmas. I told him there wasn’t enough room in the house, so he then requested a dog.

No way.

We only ever asked for one cat by the way, but two others found their way into our house (and hearts). One by being the sad, left over runt who we felt too awful to leave behind and take his sister home with us. And the other by waltzing into our kitchen, imprinting herself on our son and refusing to leave.

Cats are devious creatures, aren’t they?

Despite this we do love them, and I for one will never turn down a fashionable cat print or gorgeous GIF that’s for sure! Cat’s are certainly in fashion, designers from Karl Lagerfeld to Stella McCartney are featuring them. Even the holy grail that is Top Shop have a range of cat inspired sunglasses and jumpers.

Here are a few of my personal favourites…

GIRLS CAKEWALK Sweatshirt £44.99

Even& Odd Black Sweat Shirt £16.99

GIRLS GAP Slip Ons £15.19

Love Moschino Keyring £32.99

I am absolutely gutted that those pink glittery pumps are only made for young girls though!

We have slaves the three cats too – two rescues – all under similar unexpected circumstances! Wouldn’t change a thing 🙂 I’ll be honest, I did click on the sparkly gold cat shoes link just now…#need

I am obsessed with cats! If my husband wasn’t a cat fan, he would have been tossed by the wayside after the first date. Too many people in my life misunderstand cats. They are not always the aloof creatures that they are often portrayed as. Mine are far more affectionate than our dog. As I sat down a few minutes ago, my kitty Beau was right behind me, gleefully jumping right onto my lap where he would very likely remain for hours if not for my constant need to get crap done around the house.

Happy to hear that you guys have a great feline/child relationship! Makes all the difference in the world.
